:O Almost forgot about the existance of this blog until Gillian asked me for the password! :/ Okay, sorry about not updating. Things that were supposed to be updated are the Strings Affair performance hahaha and of course, the new committees! :)

Glad that Strings Affair went well, okay, maybe not so well for the planning procedure but the performance i thought it was good and all thanks to all the players who made it happened. :) You all can post up the event's pictures here if you want. You want to edit the blog also can, anything, it's up to you girls already! :)

Anyways, the committees and i have officially stepped down like few months ago lolol. In fact, we've just officially graduated recently woohoo! :D All right, the current committees are Tinghui (the president), Sri (the vice president), Shihua (the secretary), and Gillian (concert-mistress). I hope everything is going smooth and well. I've read some of your blogs and i'm really glad that there are some things going on in the holiday (performance), and plannings. I can see the effort man, like going back to school for meetings, meeting up individually, etc. It's like even better and responsible than us, the previous committees haha. Makes me feel abit ashame ah lol. Still, i'm really proud of you girls.

Keep on going and jiayou! :D Continue to do a good job... All the best RPSE! Fighting!!

Updates!

Hi all, i'm here again! Who else but your wonderful president? *pukes

Anyways, i have certain things to update!

1) The practice venue. Well, it's been changed again for this semester. So yeah, below is the updated details! (:

Mondays:
Mr Ten's lesson - 5.15pm to 6.15pm (Required: Violin 2)
Main Ensemble - 6.30pm to 9.30pm (Intensive training hurhur!)
Venue - Conference Room at TRCC Level 1

Thursdays:
Mr Ten lesson - 5pm to 7pm (Required: Junior and Senior Violinists)
Venue - Music Studio Room 2

Fridays:
Ms Lam's lesson - 5pm to 7pm (Required: Cellists)
Venue - Music Studio Room 2

So in conclusion, only Ms Lam's lesson have no changes hehe. Things in red are the changes. Anyways, as usual, please come for practice 30min before to set up, etc. And after practice, please help to clear up. THANKS!

2) For people whom i've talked to with regards to the collaboration with Replug IG, please go and listen to Aerosmith's I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing and Yellowcard's Only One (acoustic version). Please look below for the youtube video which i've uploaded. These are the songs they've requested for us to play the violin part. I guess we'll need to play by ears then. I believe some of us can make it so yeah please go for it! (: Tomorrow we will have a try out with them, so please do attend to see if you're really okay with doing the collaboration with them.

Besides that, if you're free, do listen to the songs and try out the violin part as well. THANKS A MILLION.

All holiday schedule's venue which is Music Studio 1 will now become Music Studio 2; meaning, we're gonna use Music Studio 2 instead. I was informed that Music Studio 1 is being booked for the holiday. Oh well!

So people, the current holiday schedule is:

Main Ensemble
Mondays, 5pm to 8.30pm, Music Studio 2
*might extend the time for intensive training!

Junior/Senior Violinists
Thursdays, 1pm to 3pm, Practice Room 1A

Cellists
Fridays, 10am to 12pm, Music Studio 2
*Shihua and Xinrui, please get the TRCC staff's number from me so you can call them when you need to open the door.

Hopefully, by the next rehearsal, Music Studio 2 won't look like a storeroom anymore hahah. Today was OMG. LOL.

Anyways, i thought we all played quite not bad today haha; especially the last 3 songs from the POTO* Medley. So yah people, please continue to work hard. Jiayou!! We can make it! =)

Almost every week, i/Huishan will be asked whether or not there is any rehearsal/practice/lesson/blabla for the following week. The answer will always be yes! Unless, there is any changes, i will email you. However, for now, you can check out this blog for updates woohoo! =)

This blog will be accessed by our committee members. So all you can do is just sit back, relax, and enjoy reading (hah! as if!). You are allowed to comment too anyways, feel free eh; for any queries, any frustration, etc. Let us hear you! =)
